The Performativities and Aesthetics of Religion (PAR)

Alexsander Baccarini Pinto was born in São João del-Rei (Minas Gerais, Brazil) in 1991. He studied Philosophy at the Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei (Federal University of São João del-Rei). In 2012 he started his Theology course at the Portuguese Catholic University (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and presented his Dissertation Thesis for the conclusion of the Master in Theology, under the orientation of Professor Doctor José Tolentino de Mendonça, focusing his research on a peculiar figure of the 20th century, Etty Hillesum, a jewish woman exterminated in Auschwitz in 1943. His investigation is centered on the studies of Religion in Theology and literature, in theological anthropology and biblical studies.
